Anthony Henday Museum
The Museum is located on Main Street (2503 - 20th. Street) across form the campground and park. It is operated by the Anthony Henday Historical Society who utilized the villages' CNR station to house the museum. The station was moved, renovated and opened on Mother's Day in 1978. The museum was named for Anthony Henday, the first white adventurer who passed this way in 1754. A replica pioneer cabin, the CNR Water tower with 4 floors of exhibits, a caboose and an open front machine shed have been added. It is a community museum with artifacts from housekeeping, farming, education, businesses, coal mining and railway.

- 9:00am. - 5:00pm.
- Open Wednesday to Sunday during the month of June, and daily July & August.
- Open by appointment in the off-season.
