Delburne Village Council made a motion at a special meeting on Wednesday, March 25th to waive late penalties on utility bills for the remainder of the year as an economic measure in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Residential and commercial customers will not be fined for late payments nor will overdue accounts be transferred to taxes.

Recycling services for the Village are provided by Environmental 360 Solutions. They have created a COVID-19 Community Recycling Action Plan. Please see their notice below:

 
STARTING MONDAY MARCH 30, ALL RECYCLABLES COLLECTED WILL BE LANDFILLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
 
 
ENVIRONMENTAL 360 SOLUTIONS HAS IMPLEMENTED THIS PROCESS AS A PART OF ITS PANDEMIC PLAN IN RESPONSE TO MANAGEMENT OF MUNICIPAL WASTE DURING THIS CRISIS.  WE ANTICIPATE A HIGH DEGREE OF CONTAMINATION WITH RECYLABLE ITEMS AND WILL BE DIVERTING TO THE LANDFILL. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS TEMPORARY.
 
RESIDENTS CAN EXPECT THAT THEIR PICKUP SCHEDULE WILL REMAIN THE SAME.

Effective immediately, all playgrounds in the Village of Delburne have been closed to the public.

At the March 24, 2020 Council meeting the decision was made to close all playgrounds for public safety due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The closure encourages social distancing and helps prevent the spread of the virus.

Delburne FCSS in collaboration with Delburne Family School Wellness Worker is launching the “RED HEART CAMPAIGN”. 

In these current times we are facing uncertainty, despair and loneliness.  Now more than ever we need each other.  We need each other for support and to feel less alone.  Social distancing and self-isolation can take its toll on any of us.
