Garbage and Recycling

The Village of Delburne has curbside garbage and recycling services as well as a Dry Dump & Recycling Depot. For those with travel trailers, we have a new location for our RV Sani Dump Station! If you need access to a landfill, there is the Gaetz Creek Waste Transfer Facility. See below for details.

The Water, Sewer & Garbage Bylaw

For Garbage and Recycling fees charged on your monthly utility bill, please see Schedule A, Page 3 of Bylaw No. 1158/2019 - The Fees & Charges Bylaw.

Household Garbage:

Curbside pick-up is every Monday with a 5 bag limit. We recommend that you have your garbage out in the morning but pick-up times can vary. Please make sure your garbage is secured in a garbage can, container or permanent box.

Unless otherwise notified, garbage pick-up will occur on holiday Mondays.

Curbside Recycling:

Delburne's recycling pick-up schedule is every other Friday. The recycling pick-up schedule is listed on our events calendar at the link below:

Delburne Events Calendar

Please have materials out for collection by 7:00 am on collection day.

Bundle or tie loose cardboard, place light items on the bottom of bin and paper items in a tied bag so they don't blow out.

We are out of recycling boxes at the Village office. If your recycling box is lost or stolen, please use a cardboard box or portable storage container. Recycling boxes can also be purchased at hardware and home renovation stores.

Note: The recycling company will only pick up recycling that is visible on the street. They will NOT open permanent garbage boxes to look for recyclable materials. To ensure that your recycling is picked up, please have it outside of your permanent garbage box.
