Village of Delburne Municipal Office & Facilities closed amidst COVID-19

Village of Delburne (March 16, 2020) – In response to the Province of Alberta’s update to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Village of Delburne is closing all Village facilities effective Monday, March 16, 2020 at 1900 hrs until further notice.
This includes the Village of Delburne Municipal Office, the Public Works Building, Delburne Community Hall, and Delburne Municipal Library.
“We have called the closures to keep our staff and residents as healthy as possible,” says Mayor Bill Chandler.
· For your protection and staff, the Village Municipal Office doors will be closed to the public however staff will continue to work regular office hours. Contact can be made via telephone (403) 749-3606 or email:
· Utility bill payments, along with your bill stub, can be placed through the Village door drop box at 2111 20th St.
· All Village of Delburne events have been postponed until further notice.
· Staff will be contacting all persons who have booked the Delburne Community Hall for upcoming rentals, as soon as possible.
On behalf of Council and staff, the Village of Delburne would like to assure residents that the risk of contracting COVID-19 is still low in Alberta.
