2024 Snowflake Saturday
Snowflake Saturday is a Winter/Christmas festival in the Village of Delburne which takes place annually on the second Saturday of December. Local organizations host activities throughout the community such as wagon rides, markets, hockey games, curling games, crafts, and fireworks.

Ray Reckseidler AUMA Lifetime Member Award
Former Mayor Ray Reckseidler was presented with the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) Lifetime Member Award in October 2020. The award is in recognition of Reckseidler's 31 years of elected experience.
Rural Health Professions Action Plan
The Rural Health Professions Action Plan did a feature on the Delburne Medical Centre.
"Earlier this year, Dr. Muti Kauchali became the first doctor to practice in Delburne in 90 years."
Red Deer County
The Village of Delburne renovated and expanded their Agri-plex Arena, adding 5,760 square feet, with Red Deer County’s support. Upgrades to the facility include 4 new very large dressing rooms, 2 bathrooms with showers, a new zamboni room and mechanical room, and livestock wash racks. The Delburne Agri-plex Arena is operational year round, and houses adult and youth hockey, figure skating, 4-H programs, and summer rodeo and arena riding.
Boomtown Trail
The Village of Delburne is part of the Boomtown Trail, a tourism region in Central Alberta, east of the QEII Hwy. It’s a road trip down Hwy 56 and 21 corridors.
Red Deer County
On September 11 2015, the Red Deer County Ag Services Team along with Division 1 Councillor Philip Massier, had the opportunity to successfully test out the County’s new Hydroseeder on the Delburne Skate Park grounds. Grass seed, mixed with water, fertilizer, and a protective mulch, was sprayed onto the bare ground surrounding the skate park’s concrete ramps and bowls.
