Golf Cart Pilot Project
The Village of Delburne is participating in the Government of Alberta's Golf Cart Pilot Project which will allow permit holders to drive their golf cart on the roadway from their house to Fawn Meadows Golf & Country Club.
To receive a permit:

A person must live in the designated area

Have a valid driver's license
-
Provide proof of $2 million dollars of liability insurance.
Designated Area
The designated area for the Pilot Project is the east side of the tracks on the following roads:

18th Ave

19th Ave
-
20th St
-
Fawn Meadows Drive
-
Fawn Meadows Crescent
Golf Cart Pilot Project Map
Golf carts are not permitted to cross the railway tracks or be driven after dark.
Permit holders must follow the rules outlined in the Village of Delburne's Bylaw No. 1202/2024: Golf Cart Pilot Project Bylaw, Alberta's Pilot Project (Golf Carts) Regulation, and Alberta's Traffic Safety Act.

A permit will cost $60 + GST.
It must be displayed on the windshield of the golf cart.
The permit will be valid for one calendar year, expiring on December 31st.

At the Village Office, we accept cash, cheque, or debit. We offer OptionPay to pay by credit card but a 3% user fee is applied.
To pay online by credit card, please click the OptionPay button. A 3% user fee will be applied.
On the OptionPay website, please select "Add Attachment" to submit your application form. Under "Payment Type" select "Golf Cart Permit."
