Mail Service Disruption Information

Mail Service Disruption Information

September 30, 2025

Due to the Canada Post strike, the Village of Delburne is unable to send or receive mail. This will have an impact on our residents and businesses receiving utility bills and the Village Voice. We would like to minimize the effect on our citizens. Here is what you need to know:

Outgoing mail will be held at the Village Office, and it will be mailed once the postal disruption has ended.

Payments are due on the specified date. Late penalties will still be applied at the end of the month.

Utility bills will be prepared during the first week of the month. Village Staff will print a copy of your bill at the front desk. Please note that renters must receive written permission from the property owner to access a copy of the bill.

We encourage property owners to sign up for e-billing to have their utility bill emailed. When utility bills are processed, they will be emailed from billing(at)delburne.ca. E-billing registration forms can be obtained at the Village Office or online at https://www.delburne.ca/about-delburne/utilities

Mail that is addressed to the Village of Delburne can be dropped off at the Village Office, during regular business hours, or placed in the after-hours mail slot of the Village Office front door.

The Village Voice will be available for pick-up at the Village Office and various places around Delburne. A digital version will be available on our website: https://www.delburne.ca/news-events/village-voice.

Citizens who are uncertain about an outstanding invoice can contact the Village Office at 403-749-3606 or village(at)delburne.ca.
