Jeff Bourne Elected as Mayor
Delburne’s new council had their organizational meeting last night, October 28, to elect a mayor, set meeting dates, and appoint members to committees. Congratulations to Jeff Bourne, who has been elected as Mayor.
The councillors will take turns being Deputy Mayor for a year until the annual organizational meeting in October. Here is the Deputy Mayor schedule:
Councillor Kathy Faulk: October 2025 to October 2026.
Councillor James Ellis: October 2026 to October 2027.
Councillor Dustin Gillespie: October 2027 to October 2028.
Councillor Jason Reckseidler: October 2028 until the municipal election in October 2029.
The first regular council meeting will be held on Monday, November 3rd at 5 pm at the Village Office. The public is welcome to observe the meeting.
The meeting dates for the rest of the year are as follows:
Tuesday, November 18th
Tuesday, December 9th
Tuesday, December 16th
In the new year, meetings will begin the regular rotation of being held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month unless otherwise posted.
