No Property Tax Increase for 2023
At last night's Delburne Council meeting, Bylaw No. 1187/2023, being the 2023 Tax Rate Bylaw, was passed. There will be no increase on the general municipal levy. This year the provincial requisitions, which are education, seniors housing, and police funding, have decreased. The municipality is responsible for collecting the requisitions on behalf of the Government of Alberta.
The 2023 Combined Assessment and Tax Notices will be mailed out mid-May and property taxes are due by June 30, 2023.
