Red Deer County Station 8 in Delburne responds to a multi-family structure fire
Delburne AB, - March 2, 2026

Crews from Red Deer County Station 8 in Delburne responded to a multi-family structure fire early in the evening of March 2, 2026. A quick response by engine 8 members brought the fire under control in an upper-level apartment preventing further damage.
Upon arrival fire crews observed smoke coming from within the building and immediately initiated an interior attack successfully containing the fire before it could spread. Thanks to the quick actions of these first responders, no injuries or fatalities were reported, and property damage was minimized.
Fire crews from Station 11 in Elnora and Red Deer County station 1 responded to the scene to provide additional support and resources. The cause of the fire remains under investigation and officials have not released any further details.
