Snow Removal Update

We would like the public to know that our snow plow is inoperable. Due to its age, we cannot get parts for it. We are looking for a replacement snow plow but at this time we ask citizens to please be patient with us as snow removal will take longer than usual. Public Works will be using our other equipment (loader, skid steer, small tractor, etc.) to clear the roads.
The Village of Delburne has a Snow Removal Policy which establishes the standards for clearing streets of snow. Our policy is to clear designated streets, avenues, and special areas as quickly as possible after a significant snowfall. The west side of the railway tracks receives priority status based on the need to access critical infrastructure such as the Fire Station, Pumphouse, School, Agriplex, Medical Centre & Pharmacy, etc.
Snow Clearing Route:
- Main Street between 21st & 28th Avenues
- 18th Street between 21st & 28th Avenues
- All the streets & avenues on the west side of the tracks
- Then the east side of the tracks between 18th Avenue and 20th Avenue
As a courtesy, Public Works will remove snow at the end of a driveway that is left behind from our snow clearing but it will be done once the streets are cleared.
