Tree Removal at Main St. Park

We would like to give advance notice to the community that all of the poplar trees around Main St. Park are going to be removed in the next few weeks. The reason for cutting down the trees is due to the age and poor condition. Public safety is our main concern. We do not want to have a tree fall and injure a person or damage property.
Buck Tree Services will be handling the tree removal and for safety reasons, we ask that everyone stay away from the area while work is being done.
Council has been consulting with our Public Works department on replacement trees. We will be planting new trees next year when the weather is appropriate.
