Village Office Recognizes the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation
Today, September 30th, is the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation. Delburne Council will be marking this solemn day by closing the Village office to remember the Survivors of residential schools as well as those who did not return home.
An important element of the reconciliation process is to remember and acknowledge the painful history of residential schools. We value our indigenous community and encourage everyone to wear orange to honour the thousands of Survivors of residentials schools.
